Terms of reference

1. Oversee the professional development activities of the NSW Bar Association.
2. Provide advice and assistance to the Examination Working Party and to the directors of the Bar Practice Course in relation to planning, policy and curriculum development.
3. Provide advice to the executive director and the Bar Council, as required, in relation to matters concerning, but not limited to, the bar examinations, Bar Practice Course, Reading Programme and Continuing Professional Development Programme.
4. Formulate policy, for the consideration of the Bar Council, on matters pertaining to the Professional Development Department, such as bBar examinations, the Bar Practice Course, Reading Programme and · Continuing Professional Development Programme.
